With reference to Mr. Syed Sadaqat Hussain’s letter of above caption where he has his delight over the successful testing of the Hatf VI (Shaheen II) surface to surface ballistic missile. When Pakistan test fired Ghouri and atom bombs a few years back, it was extremely necessary because we had to make our neighbouring country aware of our capability. Those tests were justified then. Now the situation is different. All the world is aware of our capabilities so in the first place any more tests be they of any missiles or anything else are not necessary at all. Secondly, we have to see how much powerful we are on account of being an atomic power, and what status we have in the world. Anytime I hear or read about our nuclear arms, it reminds me of Ata-ul-Haq Qasmi’s words. He somewhere said that Pakistan’s nuclear arms like a knife in the possession of a prostitute who keeps it with her all the time for her safety. Are these nuclear arms any good for us?

sometimes people thought that nukes is the best weapon to stand up against the big boys. North Korea and Iran also develop nuke tech, and US become so worry.
But I think nukes also will end our world. Imagine if the countries launched their missile each other...
