Remebering Hitler

While reading today’s newspaper I really missed Adolf Hitler. What the world hates Hitler the most for is the massacre he carried out of hundred thousands of Jews and leaving homeless those who remained. But what I don’t like Hitler for is leaving those who remained. While he killed many with the belief that he was eradicating evil, a belief to which I vehemently vouchsafe, he left others with the belief that prudent minds of future would uphold and justify his seemingly ruthless act when they will witness the evil that remains in the form of Jews.
Reportedly, Mordaf Alyahoo, a Jewish religious figure has bothered to announce that killing Palestinian women and children is justified. But he doesn’t just stop here and rather goes on to say that such Jews who do the killing should be forgiven because according to the religious teachings killing the enemy is justified.
It is shocking sometimes how values change with time, for in today’s world hypocrisy is the best policy. Whereas Muslims are hated and criticized all over the world for the concept of Jihad the so-called civilized world would point no finger at this Jewish stupidity while still ignorant of the concept of Jihad in Islam. In the words of Jean Rostand, a French writer, “Kill a man, and you are a murderer. Kill millions of men, and you are a conqueror. Kill everyone, and you are a god.” Whereas today’s civilized world keep mum on the mayhem of the innocent Palestinians I wish Hitler were alive to do the due.

I am really disappointed to read this post, as I consider this absolutely racist and ugly. While Israel cannot be justified for its ruthless massacres in Palestine, it is similarly wrong to justify Hitler's acts of attempted genocide against the Jews. For one thing, Israel is Jewish but Jews are not Israel. There are a many, many jews who do not condone Israel's atrocities in Palestine. Meshing all jewish factions with the extremist zionists doesn't make sense to me. Secondly, I can quote a hundred well known Islamic zealots who think the jews, and the Christians and indeed all the non-muslims should be completely eliminated. Does the world should kill all the Muslims. If so, Israel is absolutely justified in killing the Muslims of Palestine.

The only way out of the insanity in this world is to renounce violence irrespective of the fact that who does it or against whom - whether it's Hitler, or Ehud Olmert.

I agree with the post. The view point is different because the other pesron is looking with a different aspect. As World consider Muslims as a Terrorist, but all the Muslims are not. We also consider Jews and Christians against Muslims but every one is not. Good people are every where but it's hard to find one. Good things are also done but no one remembers.....

The world has done and over with the black and white images documenting Nazis' horrific deeds. Hitler met the fate he headed for. But Mr Malik is right when he says that why is world's conscience in a slumber. You kill a man in the so-called western civil society and you can be nabbed even after 50 years. But here we have over 1600 Palestinians massacred with maximum possible military might and next day the UN is just 'disappointed' as Olmert says the strike would go on (it happened a few days before the Zionists took a break)and if Saddam fails to let the UN body probe their much-hyped weapons of mass destruction, whole lot of dog s of war are let loose and the man is dug out and hanged through a tribunal handpicked from the very outset with his all cards marked in advance. when you sow the seeds of hatred in already deprived regions, u only breed a new yield of enemies.
French writer and philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre when asked about the Jew athletes killings at Munich Olympics, he said, 'the poor (Palestinians) had no other weapon' but to resort to violence when put against the wall. U bomb my home, U kill my kins and my school, all I wud be left to do is to take on u whenever and howsoever possible. The racism and violence always beget the mirror effect. And the so called objective and neutral asses sit in their cozy homes just to tell the condemning Israel in strong words is also racism. After what went down the Gaza lanes ( the biggest prisons on earth), every Palestinian is entitled to do whatever he wants to do with the m...erf...king Jews.

P.S.

You just can't play Bhudda when faced by a clan of cannibals...
We got to support weak and the weary no matter who he is...
Marx said to the wretched laborers of his times,"you have nothing to lose but your shackles and world's plenty to gain'. words my not be exactly as he said in German coz a lot is lost in translation but sometimes the essense remains...

Reason is usually the first casualty in a flood of rhetoric, so I'll try not to go that way. That aside, I am sure you are right that hatred begets hatred, and I am sure the zionists also put this forward as a justification of what they are doing today. Perhaps, your part of the world is "done and over with the black and white images documenting Nazis' horrific deeds," but then one day the world will also be done and over with the "colored" images of the of the horrific deeds of the jews, so why bother? "The racism and violence always beget the mirror effect." You mean Jews, as you'd probably prefer to call them, are just the acting the mirror image of what happened to them? "Cannibals" and "Cockroaches" and the "slum of the earth" - forgive me if the sound alike to me. Marx and Jean-Paul Sartre provide some of the excellent reservoir of quotes but one problem with quotes is that people remember them more for their beauty than for their applicability in all circumstances. Nobody is challenging the right or the moral justification of the Palestinians' retaliation against the Israeli massacre in Gaza but giving it a racist color or idealizing a mass murderer will only take the cycle of violence one step further.

Well Mr Butt’s pacifist paragraph itself started with a quotable sentence…but it is that pacifism of people like Russell, who on the one hand preached pacifism and then upheld the idea of one-world and that too to be led by no other but the USA.
And by being over and done with the black and white images of 30s and early 40s, it was obvious that there was no use of either rejoicing or whining over that, as the Nazis are long gone and dead.
Apart from the surface beauty of their sayings, the gentlemen I quoted gave meaning to the same. JP Sartre went to fight Nazis quitting a cozy professorship and is detained by them (again as he said, “commitment is an action not a word). No need to mention Marx’s hard times.
And I assure Mr Butt as long as there are classes of the oppressors and the oppressed these quotes would be as vital as they were when they were penned down. We got to pick a side when the war is all around us. The hawks on the either side of the political fence who want to kill innocent people under any pretext warrant condemning.
If the racism is towards oppressors it may be justifiable for some fighting back…it is the grand agenda of the neo-cons that deserves some pondering and picking up some side…and cause to put up struggle.
And there must be some room for Marxist way of analyzing things as the most of the western world is all-embracing towards the neo-f…-cons. And by the way who lauded the mass murder… Not me…Just Sam.

Sorry, if my sentence sounded quotable to you. Believe me, that wasn't my intention. And thanks for a lesson in history. Perhaps, my learned friend, you can also mention a few racist quotes from Sartre and Marx, while you are at it. While I do not mind being considered a pacifist, I won't defend what Russell said and how much he has been proven to be wrong, because I have neither quoted not hinted that I stand by what he said. I didn't say that you were praising Hitler in your comments, I was trying to concentrate on the original post itself, rather than indulging in grand narratives. Lastly, I do agree with you that racism might in some cases - and indeed in this case - can give people an inspiration to fight. But here is the point, racism shifts the focus to "who they are" from "what they are doing." And to me, who they are is more permanent and thus dangerous than what they are doing. It is something that cannot change, something that only begets violence.

Hitler was right, i wish he might have finish his work. Here in Argentina, the jews dominate all the media (tv,magazines, radio, etc) and always appear as victims.Romans were right, nazis were right, palestines are right.
