GOVERNMENT is planning to cut the fuel prices by Rs.14 per litre as the new month starts. At $87 a barrel fuel prices have been gradually reducing in the international market but it will not be a matter of surprise if the N government takes this as an opportunity to claim it as a huge relief to the people by the government. Rest assured, if the prices are cut by Rs.14 as planned, it will take us to the fuel prices we had some four years ago, but how the automotive manufacturers see this reduction to their advantage is quite another story.
